FAQs: What to expect when working with me
Q. What happens during our initial contact?
I will ask you to tell me about your business, so I can get clear about what you want, why you want it, and what you would like to accomplish. If you decide to move forward, we can get started right away.
I will subsequently develop a project outline, and schedule a short call to go over this outline to make sure that I fully understand what you need. I will listen to any feedback and additional insights you have for me.
If you’re happy with working with me, then we can “talk money” and draw up an agreement that outlines the specifics on what I will deliver, including deadlines and terms of payment. If travel and photography are involved, we can include the details about what costs will be covered.
Q. How do you work?
I will begin with a complete review of your website and any other materials you send me. From there I will research the market, including your competitors. In some cases, I will ask to visit with your customer service team, past clients/customers, and different department heads.
As needed, I will reach out to you for additional details.
You can be confident that I’ll quickly and effectively understand your product/service, your intended customers, and your desired outcome from my work.
Q. What do you need from me during the process?
I understand that clients are busy, and may prefer to hand things off to me after our initial contact, while others clients prefer to be in communication on a daily basis. We can decide this together.
Q. Do you have a review process?
Yes, I do. Depending on the scope of the article or copy that you need, I will submit a draft by the deadline decided on in the agreement.
The most important point is to make sure that the tone, the message and the offer are what you are looking for. We can fine-tune it as needed. I will review all suggested changes and make adjustments.
If there are additional changes to be made, you can be confident that I’ll work with you until you are delighted with the finished work.
Once all the revisions have been made, I will submit a final draft to you. Once you approve this final draft, I will invoice you for the remaining investment.
Of course, we can negotiate all these details as needed.
I Just Want You to be Happy!
Honestly, I am invested in doing a great job for you. The writing is my product and reputation, and I will take every measure to do the best possible job. My goal is to write the best article or copy you can find.
